The 2018 Rising Stars of the Playhouse - Brown County Playhouse Summer Youth Theatre Camp theme is "Broadway Babies". Entering our 4th year, the program is open to ages 6-12, with half-day workshops that will include singing, dancing, and acting classes. After two weeks of learning and rehearsing, students will present a revue "Broadway Babies" at the Brown County Playhouse on Saturday, June 30 at Noon.
We are excited to offer this program to students in Brown County. This is a great opportunity for your children to learn and explore their talents with experienced and highly qualified staff. This camp does not require any previous experience in any of the art forms to be studied. Every child gets a chance to shine, each being featured in several numbers.
The two weeks of workshops will be held Monday-Friday, 1:30-4 pm beginning on June 18. Performance will be Saturday, June 30 at Noon. Camp cost is $150. Scholarships available - call 812.988.6555 for more scholarship information. Download the application and release form, complete and mail by June 4.
